Online change of residential address - ICA e-Service

Under the National Registration Act, all identity card (IC) holders need to report a change of address within 28 days of moving into a new residence, whether the residence is located in or outside of Singapore.

With effect from 1 October 2020, Singapore Residents may change their residential address (local or overseas) by accessing the change of address e-Service on ICA’s website (https://go.gov.sg/ic-address) using their SingPass.

If you are unable to complete the stated process above, you may appoint or authorise a proxy (who is a Singapore identity card holder and has a SingPass account) to submit the application on your behalf. Your proxy will need to provide your NRIC number and date of issue (found on the back of holder’s IC).Subsequently, the Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be mailed to your new overseas address (not to your proxy’s address). You may then provide your proxy with the PIN so that he/she may assist to complete your application process.
